It’s holiday time at How To Cook and this week’s cooking demonstration was all about making and dipping easy chocolate treats. If you’re visiting the Sunshine Coast and would like to join in the weekly fun, you can join us on Wednesday or Friday morning at 10am for a cooking demonstration, gourmet coffee and a pastry for only $15. It’s a great way to make new friends.

Like chocolate? Like Violet Crumble? Then these easy chocolates are for you.

It’s a one-bowl dump it altogether, can’t make a mistake recipe. Place all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and combine.
Then roll into small balls, chill and dip in melted chocolate.

Then place in small foil pleated cups, smaller than mini cupcakes and available in our store and let cool. You can dip the chocolates with a spiral gadget like we did or you can use two forks or even tongs but
you won’t get as professional a look.
To take them one step further, you could use a tube of colored chocolate to decorate the top of your chocolates. The pink swirls looked great.
If dipping chocolates isn’t your thing, you can still have fantastic chocolates. Simply drop by rounded teaspoons onto a foil tray and wait for the chocolate to harden. Either way the taste is fantastic!
